Here’s what you will need:

  • 1 cup of oats blended to a fine powder
  • 2 cups of Epsom salts (also known as magnesium sulphate)
  • Ylang Ylang essential oil
  • 1 and a half cups of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)

These are all the ingredients you need for your detox bath recipe to thoroughly detox your body.

Now draw yourself a long and hot bath, as hot as you can take it. Add all of the ingredients. The 2 cups of Epsom salts, the one and a half cups of baking soda and 1 cup of powdered oats.

Mix it all in very well. Then add up to 20 drops of ylang ylang. Ylang ylang is good in aiding the detoxification process while smelling great.

Now before you enter the bath be sure you have brought with you a large glass or two of chilled water. You will get thirsty as your body detoxifies.

Relax in the bath for up to 45 minutes.

The water will get cool, and this is part of the process. In fact, it is helpful to make the last 20 minutes of your bath a cool one.

Once you are finished, allow yourself a peaceful and relaxing time for a couple of hours after. The body is still detoxifying, and you might feel lightheaded and a little spacey. This is to be expected as your body has worked hard to rid you of accumulated toxins. If you have any concerns about your health, please consult a physician before undertaking this detox bath.

The only reason foot detox pads seem to work by becoming gray to brown is most likely just due to the natural sweating of your feet. But just because your fee sweet doesn’t mean they are detoxifying.

My advice is to save your money and stay away from the foot detox scam.

In 2008 the NPR commissioned a laboratory test to determine if any heavy metals or other toxins were prevalent in used foot detox pads. They found none.

On the diet, followers can lose up to two pounds a day, for the 10-day stretch. She decided to go all out for the role, instead of relying on makeup and wardrobe and camera tricks to give the desired effect. She followed the lemonade diet for fourteen days and lost twenty-two pounds.

She indicated she struggled during the diet, watching everyone eat around her, but she got the results she was after. She said she got skinny and felt stronger as a human being because of the exercise of her own will power. To combat hunger on the diet, followers are advised to drink water.

The lemonade diet, also known as the Master Cleanse, was developed by a practitioner of alternative medicine, Stanley Burroughs. The lemonade diet is designed to cleanse the body of disease-causing toxins, and return it to a healthier, more youthful, and energetic state.

The weight loss benefits were found to be a welcome side effect of the cleanse.

Some of the other health benefits of the lemonade diet are the alleviation of chronic disease and pain, increased sexual stamina, clearer, less dry skin, improved elasticity in the skin resulting in a younger look, and the improvement of the digestive tract.

These things are accomplished as the cleanse flushes the body of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and heavy metals.

She avoided fattening foods.

She had a goal of a full colon cleansing within two weeks. To achieve this, she followed the lemonade diet and ate acai berries. Her dietician recommended citrus fruits, spinach, and apples, and to avoid dairy, fried foods, and rice.

As a way to boost her metabolism, she ate lots of green vegetables. It should be noted that many of these are recommended as part of a normal, healthy diet.

She also made use of appetite suppressants and two hours of daily exercise. She also did yoga, and spa treatments, and received therapeutic massage.

Following the lemonade diet was a key component of Robin Quivers weight loss plan. It is a way to reset the body to a more natural, healthy state.
