Are you someone who loves to eat spicy and fiery foods? Then it is time to dig into something delicious yet great for losing that stubborn fat. Yes, you read it right, using the right spices can help you lose weight while enjoying a soul satiating meal. According to several studies, it was found that a compound called Capsaicin in chilies and peppers can boost the body’s ability to break down fat and burn more energy, which eventually accelerates body’s fat burning mechanism and improves the metabolic rate, which helps in losing weight.

To begin with this recipe, take 1 cup kidney beans and soak them overnight. Pressure cook with a dash of salt. Next, take a pan and toss 2 whole red chilies, with 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste, sautee for sometime. Add 1 cup finely chopped red bell pepper and 1 cup capsicum along with kidney beans. Toss the ingredients and pour 1 cup vegetable stock and add 1 tsp cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper. Garnish and enjoy with croutons.

Wash and marinate the 200 grams chicken with a paste of ½ cup lemon juice, 3green chilies, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 handful coriander, salt and pepper as per taste. In the meantime, soak 3 tbsp poppy seeds and make a paste with 1cup hung curd, 3 green chilies and peppercorns. Now, take a pan and grease it with some oil and add the marinated chicken after cooking for 5 minutes, pour the poppy seeds mixture, add water and adjust the salt and pepper. Lastly, add paprika and cover the lid and cook. Serve this with pita bread or crackers.

Take a pan and dry roast cinnamon sticks,1 star anise, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 tsp coriander seeds, 2 tsp peppercorns, 2 whole red chilies. Grind and marinate the chicken pieces with ginger, garlic, salt and lemon juice. Take another pan and add 1 tsp coconut oil and fry curry leaves and add the marinated chicken, cook the chicken by sprinkling some water. Cover the lid and let it cook. Serve this with multigrain roti or appam.

To make this quick and easy recipe, wash and cut the upper part of the colorful peppers or capsicum, extract the seeds and make a hollow. Take 1 bowl and ½ cup boiled chickpeas, 1 cup cottage cheese crumbled, black pepper and salt as per taste, chopped onions, green chilies and coriander leaves followed by 1 tsp chili garlic oil and mix it well. Stuff this mixture inside and bake.
