She Hydrates

Milica makes sure to drink plenty of water to supplement her active lifestyle. How much water should you drink per day? According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

She Drinks Coffee

Milica is also a coffee drinker, a surprisingly healthy habit. A new 2022 study published in European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death. A cup of coffee is also a great way to boost energy in the morning.

She Boxes

Milica stays in shape with the help of a fighting form of fitness, which has “many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture,” says physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s hospital. “You’re swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you’re in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you’re strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs,” she told Harvard Health.

She Dances

Obviously, dancing helps Milica stay in shape, build strength, and stay flexible. According to a 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, dancing is also great for heart health.

She Walks

Milica goes for regular walks. The Mayo Clinic endorses brisk walking as a great fitness form, explaining that it can help you maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat, prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
